Lenny Uploader Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Lenny Uploader ("the tool") is a private application operated by the creator of the YouTube channel Lenny. The creator is its only user. This policy explains what the tool accesses and how that information is handled.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's Privacy Policy applies to data that Google processes: https://policies.google.com/privacy
What the tool accesses
With the creator's permission, given through Google sign-in, the tool:
- uploads videos and thumbnails to the creator's own channel;
- updates the privacy status and publish time of those videos;
- reads basic information about the creator's own channel (its name and ID);
- reads the view, like and comment counts of the channel's own videos.
It does not access, collect or store information about any other YouTube user or viewer.
How the information is used
The tool uses this information only to:
- upload and publish the creator's own videos;
- confirm it is connected to the correct channel;
- track how the channel's videos perform.
Storage
The sign-in token, the channel ID and the uploaded videos' IDs and counts are stored only on the creator's own computer. Nothing is stored on any server operated by the tool.
Sharing
No information is sold, shared with, or disclosed to any third party.
Retention and deletion
The creator can delete the stored data at any time by deleting the tool's local files. The creator can also revoke the tool's access to the Google account at any time, at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. After that, the tool can no longer access the channel.
